近年來健康食品中開始添加瓜拿納的草藥做為成分,而文獻中常把瓜拿納加上其他草本植物來做研究,對於人體使用純瓜拿納以及劑量的探討並不多。目的:以體重過重者,服用不同純瓜拿納劑量下進行單次運動,探討是否可以增加運動後的脂肪代謝以及減少運動後的氧化壓力。方法:12 名體重過重者,採用重複量數設計,服用低劑量瓜拿納 1000 mg (guarana low,GL)、高劑量瓜拿納 2000 mg (guarana high,GH) 和安慰劑 (control,C)。以 75% 的保留心跳率強度進行 30 分鐘運動,在運動前 (Pre)、運動後立即 (IP)、運動後 30 分鐘 (P30)、運動後 60 分鐘 (P60) 和運動後 24 小時 (P24H) 進行抽血,檢測血液中脂肪代謝和抗氧化能力。資料處理以重複量數二因子統計分析,α= .05。結果:1. 甘油:在 IP,GH 顯著高於 GL 和 C。在 P30,GL 和 GH 皆顯著高於 C (ρ < .05)。2. 脂解酶:在 IP,GH 顯著高於 C。在 P30,GL 和 GH 皆顯著高於C (ρ < .05)。3. TBARS:在 P30,GH 顯著低於 C。在 P60,GH 顯著低於 GL 和 C。在 P24H,GH 和 GL 皆顯著低於 C (ρ < .05)。4. SOD:C 在 IP 顯著高於 P60 和 P24H (ρ < .05)。5. CAT:GH 在 IP 和 P24H 皆顯著高於 Pre。C 在 P60 顯著高於 P24H (ρ < .05)。結論:人體服用純瓜拿納增補可以增加運動後脂肪代謝,高劑量 2000 mg 瓜拿納在人體試驗中未有任何不良反應,且脂肪代謝效果優於低劑量 1000 mg。服用瓜拿納對於體重過重者有正面的幫助。
Guarana has been added as an ingredient to herbal health food in recent years. Previous literature often combine guarana with other herbs for research. However, there was little discussion on the dosage effects of pure guarana on human body. Purpose: To investigate whether single exercise with different dosage of pure guarana supplement would increase the lipid metabolism and decrease oxidant stress on overweight males. Methods: Using a counter-balanced crossover design, twelve overweight males performed a 30-min treadmill exercise at 75% of heart rate reserve after supplementation of guarana 1000 mg (guarana low, GL)、2000 mg (guarana high, GH) and placebo (control, C). Blood biochemistry parameters for lipid metabolism and antioxidant capacity were analyzed before exercise (Pre), immediate post-exercise (IP), 30 minute post-exercise (P30), 60 minute post-exercise (P60) and 24 hour post-exercise (P24H) were compared. The α level was set at .05. Results: 1. Glycerol concentration: Values at IP, GH was significantly higher than GL and C. At P30, GL and GH were significantly higher than C (ρ < .05). 2. Lipase activity: At IP, GH was significantly higher than C. At P30, GL and GH were significantly higher than C (ρ < .05). 3. TBARS: At P30, GH was significantly lower than C. At P60, GH was significantly lower than GL and C. At P24H, GH and GL were significantly lower than C (ρ < .05). 4. SOD: In C, IP was significantly higher than P60 and P24H (ρ < .05). 5. CAT: In GH, IP and P24H significantly higher than Pre. In C, P60 was significantly higher than P24H (ρ < .05). Conclusions: Pure guarana supplement can increase human fat metabolism after exercise. There were no adverse reactions with high dosage of 2000 mg guarana in human trials. Guarana has a positive effect for overweight people.
