色彩知覺為判斷色彩的能力,是不同波長的光提供進入眼睛的物理刺激,並引起色彩的感覺與辨別的動作。一般人的色彩知覺能讓視覺感受到豐富的色彩變化,能看見不同波長的光。但是色彩知覺障礙者因爲辨識系統中有缺陷,而影響了其色彩知覺。
本研究旨在探討色彩知覺障礙者的藝術表現以及在藝術學習中所遇之特殊性,為了解色彩知覺障礙與藝術表現、學習方面的關聯性,而發展出相關的研究目的與問題。研究方法採用深度訪談法為主要研究方法,並以主題分析的方式進行資料分析。本研究選取五位色彩知覺障礙者為研究對象,主要探討問題為:一、色彩知覺障礙對於日常、繪畫、學習上有何種影響?二、色彩知覺障礙者之繪畫表現特徵為何?三、色彩知覺障礙者學習美術的特殊性為何?目的為理解色彩知覺障礙者之藝術表現與藝術學習之特殊性。
根據本研究之探究結果,歸納如下結論:
一、色彩知覺障礙在日常、繪畫、學習上有不同程度的影響,日常中色彩知覺障礙的影響並不大、繪畫上侷限於再現色彩的項目上,特別是在學習水彩項目上、而在學習上,對於精準的顏色辨認會有困難,需要花費較長時間來辨識。
二、色彩知覺障礙者的繪畫表現與使用色彩方式有其獨特性,對於所見與所繪的色彩會有差異,並以後天既定的色彩印象進行繪畫。
三、色彩知覺障礙者在美術學習需有後天的輔助,無論藉由他人或是工具的協助,對於色彩辨識能夠較順利的進行。

Color perception is the ability to determine color, which is the physical stimulus provided by different wavelengths of light entering the eye and causing the perception and discrimination of color. In general, color perception allows the eye to perceive a rich variety of colors and to see different wavelengths of light. However, people with color vision deficiency have defects in the recognition system that affect their color perception.
The purpose of this study is to examine the artistic performance of people with color vision deficiencyand the specificities encountered in art learning, and to develop research objectives and questions to understand the relationship between color vision deficiencyand artistic performance and learning.The research method was based on in-depth interviews and thematic analysis. The main questions are: 1. What are the effects of color vision deficiency on daily life, painting, and learning? 2. What are the characteristics of the drawing performance of the color vision deficiency? 3. What are the special characteristics of people with color vision deficiency in learning art? The purpose is to understand the special characteristics of artistic expression and art learning for people with color vision deficiency.
According to the results of this study, the following conclusions were summarized as below:
1. The effect of color vision deficiency in daily life, painting, and learning is not significant; in painting, it is limited to the reproduction of colors, especially in learning watercolor; and in learning, it is difficult to recognize colors accurately and takes longer time to recognize them.
2. People with color vision deficiency have their own unique way of painting and using colors. They have differences between the colors they see and the colors they paint, and they paint with their acquired color impressions.
3. People with color vision deficiency need assistance in their art learning, whether through the help of other people or tools, so that color recognition can be carried out more smoothly.
