Organizations face progressively competition worldwide. Innovation could help organizations to implement new policy, process, and develop product, and then obtain competitive advantage. However, there are a few studies to explore and develop the model of organization innovation effectiveness. The purpose of this study included building and verifying the index of organizational innovation effectiveness in healthcare industries in Taiwan.
This research conducted literary analysis to build the factor and primary model of organization innovation effectiveness. The inventory was constructed based on literature review and expert advices. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were employed to understand the reliability and validity of inventory. A stratified random sample was drawn from a list of healthcare industries and data were collected from 320 high level and middle level managers in Taiwan and 262 valid questionnaires was returned. The response rates were 82%.
The results showed that the model of organization innovation effectiveness was consisted of strategic innovation effectiveness, management innovation effectiveness, cultural innovation effectiveness, and technical innovation effectiveness. The organizational innovation effectiveness inventory was contained 38 items and had good reliability and validity.
