The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of supervisor-subordinate guanxi and LMX on organizational political behavior, and the mediating effect of psychological entitlement in these relationships. This study adopted a convenience sampling method and a two-wave survey design to collect data on full-time workers. A total of 156 online questionnaires were completed. After excluding invalid questionnaires, we obtained a final sample of 147 participants. Results show that (1) supervisor-subordinate guanxi was positively related to psychological entitlement; (2) the relationship between LMX and psychological entitlement was not supported; (3) psychological entitlement was positively related to organizational political behavior; (4) psychological entitlement significantly mediated the relationship between supervisor-subordinate guanxi and organizational political behavior, and (5) the mediating effect of psychological entitlement between LMX and organizational political behavior was not supported.
