    國小教師身體活動與睡眠品質之相關研究

    摘 要
    本研究主要目的在瞭解國小教師之身體活動與睡眠品質現況,並比較身體活動量大小和有無規律運動習慣變項在睡眠品質上的差異。本研究以匹茲堡睡眠品質量表(PSQI)為研究調查工具,調查對象為經分層隨機抽樣方式所選取的747名高雄縣國小教師,平均年齡為36.39 ±8.92歲,平均身高為162.49 ±7.27公分,平均體重為58.31 ±10.30公斤,平均身體質量指數(BMI)為21.97 ±2.75 Kg/m2,調查所得資料經統計處理後發現:
    一、國小教師之睡眠品質得分分佈從0~18分,平均得分為5.27 ±2.36分,睡眠品質不佳者佔42.6%。
    二、國小教師每日身體活動的消耗能量平均為2391.08 ±742.26 Kcal/day,每日身體活動等代謝量平均為40.73 ±8.55 METs。不同身體活動量組間之睡眠品質或其構成要素皆無顯著差異。然而,高METs組在睡眠品質及白天功能狀態顯著優於低METs組。
    三、有21.6%的國小教師有規律運動的習慣,而其整體睡眠品質、主觀睡眠品質、睡眠困擾及白天功能狀態亦顯著優於無規律運動習慣者。然而,睡眠潛伏期、睡眠時數、睡眠效率及安眠藥之使用則未達顯著水準。
    四、運動頻率、持續時間、強度、運動時段及運動期間舒暢愉快頻率之不同,在整體睡眠品質得分均無顯著差異。然而,運動期間舒暢愉快之頻率與主觀睡眠品質及睡眠困擾有關。
    五、運動習慣「很容易」產生促進健康、增進體能效果者,比「可能不會」產生效果者有顯著較少的睡眠困擾情形及白天功能障礙。
    本研究發現有規律運動習慣之國小教師睡眠品質較佳,所以鼓勵老師及早養成運動習慣,應是促進身心健康和改善睡眠品質的有效方法。

    Abstract
    The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between sleep quality and physical activity level of elementary school teachers. Additionally, the differences of sleep quality between regular (at least 3 days a week, 20 minutes each time) and non-regular exercise teachers also been compared. There were 747 teachers (age 36.39 ±8.92 yrs, height 162.49 ±7.27 cm, weight 58.31 ±10.30 kg, BMI 21.97 ±2.75 Kg/㎡) in Kaohsiung county were randomly selected and asked to fill out the designed questionnaires. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) of each subject was assessed to represent the sleep quality. The data analysis and the results were followed:
    1. The average PSQI global score of total subjects was 5.27 ±2.36, and 42.6% of the subjects whose scores were greater than 5.
    2. The average daily energy expenditure of physical activity in elementary school teachers was 2391.08 ±742.26 Kcal/day. The average daily metabolic of physical activity was 40.73 ±8.55 METs. There was no significant difference among groups in sleep quality or it's factors. However the high- METs group subjects had better sleep quality and daytime function than low-METs subjects.
    3. There were 21.6% of subjects had regular exercise habits. The PSQI global score, subjective sleep quality, sleep disturbance and daytime function of regular exercise teachers were significantly better (p<.05) than those non-regular exercise teachers. However, the sleep latency, sleep duration, sleep efficiency and the use of medication were not significant difference between two groups.
    4. There was no significant difference in PSQI global score between different groups of either exercise frequency, duration time, intensity, and enjoyable frequency. However, the enjoyable frequency correlation with subjective sleep quality and sleep disturbance.
    5. The teachers whose exercise habits were "easily to promote health and physical fitness" had low incidence of sleep disturbance and daytime dysfunction than those of "not likely to promote" teachers.
    The teachers who exercise regularly had better sleep quality. Therefore, encouraging teachers to raise regular exercise habit is recommend.
