近年來汽車工業對鋁合金的興趣快速增加,在歐洲和北美等地區,使用電阻點銲接合鋁合金在汽車架構和車殼的場合日益增多。而電阻點銲是鋁合金薄板接合的關鍵技術。
影響點銲銲接品質的因素約有40種,其中最重要者為熔接電流、通電時間與電極加壓力,它們大致遵循電阻熱的公式H = ki2 Rt。但是由於鋁合金具有高導電性、高熱傳導性和低熔點,因此需要高熔接電流的點銲機,以補充熱散失的不足,但因為具高熔接電流的點銲機設備昂貴,而點銲的成本大部份來自於機器設備的投資,這使得鋁合金點銲接合的應用受限。
本研究的目的即利用一般常見的單相交流式點銲機,點銲接合厚度1.6mm之6061-T6鋁合金薄板,以實驗方法尋求一組最佳製程參數,並經由金相實驗探討銲接參數對銲塊(nugget)直徑與銲塊孔洞率的影響,以及銲接區域的微硬度分佈,最後對試片做拉-剪力試驗,計算出銲塊的剪應力強度,發現使用50kVA單相交流式點銲機電阻點銲接合鋁合金的剪應力強度約只有原母材剪應力強度的70 %。
In the recent years, automobile industry is getting more and more interesting in aluminum alloy. In Europe and North America areas, the application of resistance spot welding to connect aluminum at car structure and car shell is much common. People know that RSW is the key technique in connecting aluminum.
There are about 40 factors that influence the RSW quality. Several most important factors are welding current, welding time and electrode pressure. These factors obeyed the resistance heat formula H=i2Rt. Because of the low melting temperature, high thermal and electoral conductivity, aluminum connecting needs high welding current to supply the heat lose. Most manufacture cost comes from RSW machine, so this makes RSW in connecting aluminum is limited.
The goal of this research is to apply the single phase AC resistance spot welding machine in connecting 1.6mm aluminum 6061-T6. We get a series of best manufacture parameters by using experiment. And we discussed how the manufacture parameters influence the nugget diameter and porosity. We also discussed the hardness near the welding area and the pull-shear test result. Finally we evaluated the shear stress strength and found that it is only about 70% of original strength by using 50 kVA
