國小一年級學童數學能力之研究
摘要
本研究之目的在檢測「幼兒數學能力測驗-第二版」對我國國小一年級學童的適用性,並瞭解國小一年級學童在「幼兒數學能力測驗-第二版」的數學能力表現情形。研究方法以一對一施測方式進行,並輔以觀察、書面記錄,以及錄影、錄音等方式蒐集資料。研究對象以台北市公立小學一年級學童為主,合計受試學童共84位,本研究主要發現如下:
(一)「幼兒數學能力測驗-第二版」對我國國小一年級學童而言,經研究發現具有51﹪的顯著試題效度、47﹪的試題平均難度,以及與國外常模之比較亦有相當程度之表現,足見該工具確實適用於檢測我國國小一年級學童之數學能力表現,唯難度方面較為偏易。
(二) 研究結果發現,我國國小一年級學童的數學能力表現,在非正式數學能力方面發展已臻成熟,學童已經具有100以下唱數、計數、心算數線的能力,以及20以內的具體加法也多反應正確,但是在心算題項上,學童仍需花費相當的時間解題。
(三) 在正式數學能力方面,我國國小一年級學童在數字的讀寫部分表現良好,已經具有讀寫二位數字的能力,然而,在直式加減計算、十進位及位數概念部分,多數受試學童其能力表現尚未完全發展完熟。
研究者發現,國小一年級學童的數學能力是未來學習高層次數學能力及知識的基礎,因此具有相當之重要性。本研究針對上述研究發現討論其意義並提出數學教育相關人員、家長及未來研究的建議。
