賽前立即增補及短期增補碳酸氫鈉均被認為可以增加血液的緩衝能力,提昇乳酸及氫離子排出肌肉細胞的速率,但是否能增進100公尺捷泳的表現,仍有待進一步探討。目的:觀察立即及短期增補碳酸氫鈉對於100公尺捷泳成績及血液反應之影響。方法:依照100公尺捷泳前測成績將18名受試者分成增補碳酸氫鈉(N組:9人)及安慰劑組(P組:9人),實驗流程包括前測 (T1)、立即增補(T2:測試前90分鐘)及短期增補(T3:連續增補5天後於第6天測試)3次100公尺捷泳運動測試,且在增補前立即、增補後90分鐘及運動後立即進行指尖採血藉以分析血液pH值、Base excess (BE)、HCO3¯及血乳酸濃度,實驗所得資料採混合設計二因子變異數分析進行統計處理。結果:N組在T2增補後的血液pH值、BE、HCO3¯顯著高於T1、T3及P組,且N組之T2在運動後的血液pH值、BE、HCO3¯顯著高於T1及T3。N組在T2增補後的血乳酸值顯著低於T1及T3,且N組在T2運動後的血乳酸值顯著高於T1。100公尺捷泳表現方面,N組的成績為T1 (74.86±7.89)、T2 (75.25±7.54)、T3 (74.01±7.74秒),P組為T1 (75.75±9.37)、T2 (76.77±9.71)、T3 (76.46±9.36秒),各組的成績皆無達顯著差異。結論:運動測試前90分鐘立即增補0.5 g • kg¯¹體重的NaHCO3可顯著提昇血液pH值、Base excess及HCO3¯的數值,但對於100公尺捷泳成績並無影響,另外,相較於立即增補,在連續增補5天後停止增補1天,血液鹼化之現象即消失,同時亦未改變100公尺捷泳成績,顯示此種短期增補方式無論對血液鹼化及100公尺捷泳成績都無助益。
