本文試圖減少中文報紙閱讀教學時之障礙, 檢視華語教學課程中之讀報教材, 從報紙版面編排中探討標題的行文走向, 指出區分報紙內容類別, 有助於閱讀中文報紙時, 預測視線移動的方向. 由研究常用字與常用詞的文獻探討中, 得知既有研究成果對於讀報教學之助益有限. 並自所蒐集之中國時報民國八十六年四月至九月頭版新聞標題的語料中,統計並分析字頻與詞頻, 探討標題的語言結構特徵. 且與中央研究院的新聞語料庫統計所得之字與詞頻比較, 提出同步進行高, 中, 低頻詞彙的教學模式, 可能優於全先處理高頻, 中頻, 再至低頻詞彙教學的模式.
Trying to reduce obsticale on teaching and learning Chinesenewspapers, this study investigates materials of newspaper readingsused in teaching Chinese as a second language, discusses the arrangement of headlines on newspapers and points out to differentiategenres of the contents helps predict the eyes' movement while readingChinese newspapers. The help of the previous study results on the frequently used Chinese characters and words is very limited to the Chinese teaching and learning. Hence, this study collects six months,from April to September in 1997, of headlines on the first pages fromChina Times to count the characters and words, and to find out thecharacteristics of Chinese headline language structures. Besides, from thecomparison on the frequency with the news data bank in sinica, the pedagogical model of simultaneously probing characters and words withhigh, mid and low frequency is suggested to override the model of goingfrequencies from high to low.
