本研究從生涯發展觀點和環境、制度與能動者的角度探討籃球教練從球員生涯轉換至籃球教練角色過程，使用半結構式深度訪談法訪談八位曾擁有甲組球員經驗之籃球教練。研究結果顯示籃球教練於球員階段因訓練時間長，未能進行籃球運動外之生涯探索。轉換至教練角色時，面臨訓練、人際互動、家庭因素與薪資等困境，透過持續進修、自我反省、謙虛與永不放棄等精神作為因應困境之策略。輔導工作為教練角色重要任務之一，受訪者皆以過來人的經驗培養學生籃球員多元學習、正向價值、分析自身價值、因應環境變遷等能力，並提供其多元生涯進路。

From the perspective of career development, this research explores the transition process from the role of basketball player to coach. It uses semi-structured in-depth interviews to interview eight basketball coaches who have experience in division-one players, and uses the environment, system and initiative as the framework. The results of the study show that there’s seldom chance to explore other fields due to the long training time during the player stage. When switching to a coaching role, you may face difficulties in training, interpersonal interaction, family factors, and salary condition. The strategy of coping with the difficulties is through continuous learning, self-reflection, humility and never giving up. Counseling is one of the important tasks of the coach's role. The degraders use the experience of the past to train student basketball players to learn positive value, analyze their own value, respond to changes in the environment, and other abilities to create their multiple career paths.
