Recently, by the efforts of each single-sport association, abundant international events have been held in Taiwan. These international events not only increase the publicity of Taiwan but also gave opportunities for sportsmen from various countries to exchange life experiences. In addition, these international sports affairs also help draw attention to Taiwanese people, volunteers, and sports-related people and encourage their participation. When participating in international affairs, volunteers show what they excel at and take on responsibility, which partially embodies the concept of accountability. The degree of involvement also affects job satisfaction positively and significantly. The present study investigated the volunteers who participated in Taiwan international sports affairs from March 2nd, 2019 to March 17th, 2019. Five hundred and twenty-eight questionnaires were distributed, 310 of which were valid. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression analysis were adopted. The results showed that:1. Females participated in Taiwan international sports events more than males do. The age is between 21 to 25. Their educational background is college/university and they have more than one volunteering experience. Their own performances are scored from 81 to 90 (points). 2.Effective reliability is calculated among perceived accountability, involvement, and satisfaction, with values ranging between 0.81 and 0.92. 3.There are significant differences between genders in perceived accountability. 4.There are positive correlations between perceived accountability, involvement, and satisfaction. 5.Perceived accountability, involvement, and satisfaction are significant indices. Suggestions that sports-related people in Taiwan enhance their working quality by the participation of international sports events. For future volunteer recruitment and implementation, keeping work adjustable is the key to improving volunteers’ job satisfaction and optimizing the use of their skills. More importantly, it’s expected that outstanding volunteers can represent part of Taiwan sports and make great contributions to Taiwan’s sports diplomacy.
