Eccles等人(1998)提出父母社會化模式,指出父母會透過角色楷模、經驗詮釋、經驗提供等三種途徑,影響兒童的運動價值與行為。本研究以此模式為架構,招募12組父親、母親、兒童,以訪談的方式,探索武術運動社團情境中,父母與兒童信念與行為的關係脈絡。訪談所得資料進行編碼及分析後發現,角色楷模的途徑中,僅有直接教導的行為,並沒有模仿父母行為的陳述;經驗詮釋方面,父母對兒童的影響並不明顯;經驗提供的部份,明確的指出比賽、表演、指導、遊戲、分享、子女教學、討論等父母陪伴兒童的時機。而這些時機也能同時產生經驗詮釋的效果。由於社團的特殊情境,並未發現擔任義工與添購相關物品的行為。
