The research examines the Taiwan student aid system for college underprivileged students. First, it begins from the relative theories and the current status in the United States and Taiwan. Secondly, the amount schooling expenses deducting available schooling aid is schooling deficit. The three kinds of students all face the deficit. The researcher proposes an improvement draft to implement Focused Group Interview and Individual Interview. The main conclusions are as following: (1) The actual student aid for economically underprivileged students schooling is not enough. (2) The term of each financial supporting way is confusing. (3) The financial supporting information is unintegrated. (4) The social welfare department helps economically underprivileged students with insufficient enthusiasm. The last part of the thesis has three-stage suggestions. The suggestions are to minimize the lack of schooling resources to help the students go to school as they hope.
