摘 要
本研究旨在瞭解嬰兒的色彩偏好狀況及嬰兒的色彩偏好和其氣質之相關。色彩偏好可以反應出個體內在和大腦功能有關的色彩知覺。有許多研究致力於色彩偏好和成人人格間的相關,而關於嬰兒色彩偏好的個別差異的研究卻付之闕如。氣質是人格的基礎,因此本研究嘗試探討嬰兒的色彩偏好和其氣質間的關聯。本研究選取141名台北市某私立醫院及三所台北縣、市衞生所中,要進行預防注射之十二個月至二十四個月大的嬰兒為研究對象,以嬰兒氣質量表及彩色立方體積木為工具,透過觀察法和問卷法進行資料收集。研究者在取得父母的同意並填答完氣質量表後,將五種不同顏色的立方體積木以拉丁方格設計,呈現在嬰兒面前,並觀察記錄其抓取的情形。藉以瞭解不同年齡嬰兒的色彩偏好狀況,並分析其和氣質間的相關。研究結果發現:(一)38.3%的受試嬰兒表現出偏好某特定顏色。(二)受試嬰兒喜歡的顏色依序為藍色、黃色、綠色、紫色和紅色。(三)不同月齡受試嬰兒對五種顏色的色彩偏好及不同亮度的色彩偏好無顯著差異。(四)色彩偏好和氣質存在特定的關聯,有色彩偏好的嬰兒比無色彩偏好的嬰兒活動量高,適應性低;喜歡紫色的嬰兒其活動量和反應強度均大於喜歡綠色的嬰兒。喜歡綠色的嬰兒在適應性上比喜歡黃色或藍色的嬰兒佳。針對研究結果,本研究建議之後的研究,可以選取九個月大的嬰兒為受試對象,以探討大腦的發展和色彩偏好間的關聯;並在日常生活,给嬰兒適當的色彩刺激,以形塑其氣質發展。
