  • 本創作將西遊記中角色設計進行拆解並擺脫原有架構。形式上以後現代與當代的多元化概念將孫悟空與電腦病毒結合。其中,電腦病毒為比擬大鬧天宮的情節,希冀能展現後現代的反思性思維。並以現代人沉迷上網做為批判的出發點,發展出現代與古典、東方與西方之圖像元素的全新組合,期以顛覆觀眾對傳統西遊記的既有印象。這樣的復古並非原封不動的只運用傳統東方繪畫,更帶有舊瓶裝新酒的趣味存在其中,也可以稱為在描繪當代生活的同時卻又在傳統中找到靈感。

    In the recent years, the kinds of wizard and fairytales movies such as Harry Porter and Lords of Rings are fascinated on the world. The famous novel in Chinese, The Journey to the West, is also good in its material and descriptions of its roles like Mind Monkey, Chu Pa-chieh, Bull Demon King, and Pilgrim Sun. However, compared with Harry Porter and Lords of Ring, The Journey to the West is much less famous than them.

    There are many productions that use the Journey to the West as subject matter, but they are still in the same structure with the original material. In the other hand, the cartoons, Dragon Ball Z and Reload Gunlock in Japan used the Journey to the West as subject matter to innovate an unique production and not only famous in Japan, but also in America and Europe.

    Therefore, this matter of design will focus on the subject matter in the Journey to the West, and try to add the new 3D technology to describe the model of the roles. The Mind Monkey will be designed by combining with virus to express an all new style.
