本研究以矽膠為基質,引入S-三■環三甲基四級銨鹽(S-triazinyl-
trimethylammonium chloride), 製備具有離子層析能力的交換劑, 經由
漿式填充後, 以單一管柱離子層析法配合電導偵檢及間接UV光度偵檢方
式 , 探討試樣離子的層析行為。研究內容包括: 沖提劑的種類對分析離
子層析行為的影響, 動相參數的探討, 間接光度層析法(IPC)的探討, 及
單一管柱同時分離無機陰﹑陽離子之研究。實驗結果顯示, 有機酸沖提
劑(乙二酸﹑丙二酸﹑丁二酸﹑戊二酸﹑己二酸)沖提結果偏離離子交換機
制,而有機酸鹽沖提劑(KHP﹑EDTA鈉鹽)則較遵循離子交換機制; 沖提劑的
濃度﹑pH值及沖提劑中有機修飾劑的含量, 對分析離子滯留有很大的影
響;選則適當的沖提劑能與陽離子形成穩定的陰離子鉗合物, 便能利用陰
離子交換管柱同時分離無機陰﹑陽離子。
A novel silica-based anion exchanger was prepared by immobi-
lizing a quaternary ammonium salt of cyanuric chloride onto
the surface of silane-modified silica-gel. The retention
behavior of anions were investigated by single column ion
chromatography with conductimetric detection and indirect UV
detection. The objecti- ves of the present investigation
include the following: the types of eluent that affect analyte
anion retention were studied; the mobile phase variables that
affect analyte anion retention were studied; the separation of
anions on a low-capacity anion excha- nge column using indirect
UV detection was studied; the possibi- lity of the simultaneous
separation of inorganic anions and alk- aline earth metal ions
was studied on silica-based anion exchan- ger with the
chelating agent. The results indicate that there is a large
deviation from the ion-exchange mechanism when organic acids
(oxalic, malonic, succinic, glutaric and adipic acid) were used
as eluent. while the retention approaches ion-exchange mec-
hanism when the salts of organic acids (KHP and EDTA disodium
salt) were used. The mobile phase variables that were found
to affect analyte anion retention were: ionic strength, mobile
phase pH , and concentration of organic modifier. One technique
used a complexing agent as the eluent. Using this method, metal
cations are separated along with the other inorganic anions on
an anion exchange column.
