過度的內臟脂肪堆積,不但會影響運動能力, 同時提高人體罹患高血壓, 糖尿病與心血管疾病的機率. 本研究的目的以磁共振造影法(MRI)測得臺灣地區男,女的內臟脂肪體積為效標.評估腰圍,臀圍,腰臀圍比與內臟脂肪體積的相關,發展內臟脂肪體積的預測公式.本研究以臺灣地區男,女各8名為受試對象,平均年齡為34.45+/-9.15歲,平均身體質指數(BMI)為23.36+/-4.21(kg/m^2),平均腰圍78.13+/-10.72公分,平均臀圍99.63+/-8.65公分,腰臀圍比為0.78+/-0.06.內臟脂肪體積1340.38+/-1055.45立方公分,所得資料以逐步回歸進行處理,結果發現:一,內臟脂肪體積與腰圍的相關為0.76,與腰臀圍比的相關為0.53.二,根據資料所發展的內臟脂肪體積的預測公式: Y=99.61X1 - 5321.45X2 -2271.24(X1:腰圍, X2: 腰臀圍比)本研究內臟脂肪體積預測公式R-square為0.61,即以腰圍和腰臀圍比來預測人體的內臟脂肪可達61%的正確性.本公式提供了一個簡便預測內臟脂肪的工具,可使用在普遍化的測驗與研究.
According to research, the mass of visceral fat not only influences exerc-ise ability but is also associated with an increased risk of hypertension,dia-betes and cardiovascular disease. The purposes of this study were : to measure visceral fat volume as the criterion by using magnetic resonance imagine(MRI), to evaluate the correlatio-n between visceral fat volume and waist girth ,hip circumference and waist-to-hip ratio(WHR); and to develop a prediction equation for visceral fat volume. Sixteen (16) human subjects (8 male, 8 female) were involved in this stud-y. Their average age was 34.5+/-9.15yrs ,body mass index (BMI) 23.36+/-4.21(kg*m^2), waist girth 78.13+/-10.72cm,hip circumference 99.63+/-8.65cm,and WHR0.78+/-0.06. The volume of visceral fat was 1340.38+/-1055.45 cm^3. All data was analyzed by stepwise regression. The results were:1. The volume of visceral fat showed significant correlation with waist girt-h and hip circumference (r=0.76 and r=0.53).2. According to the data,the prediction equation of visceral fat volume was: Y=99.61X1-5321.45X2-2271.24(X1:waist girth, X2:waist-to-hip ratio﹛^The r-square of the equation is 0.61. In other words, this equation is 61%accurate in predicting the volume of visceral fat.
