  • 摘要
    位於東亞季風區域的西北太平洋地區主要包含了三個部分:一是由渤海、黃海及東海所組成的三海系統,二是位於台灣西南方的南海,以及位於此二海域東側的菲律賓海;整個西北太平洋邊緣海域之表面洋流均直接地受到了季風風向轉變的影響而呈現季節性之流場轉變。
    本研究中,利用POM(Princeton Ocean Model)建構一模式區域較大且解析度較高(1/8°x1/8°)之西北太平洋模式,並運用巢狀模式系統之方法,運用較大模式範圍之西太平洋模式(使用Miami Isopycnic Coordinate Ocean Model)輸出之結果,提供西北太平洋模式所需之初始條件及邊界條件,並比較兩模式在西北太平洋環流之模擬結果,並進一步探討東海海域之流場、海水面高度及海面溫度之分布情況。
    因模式解析度之增加以及側邊界條件的完整提供,使西北太平洋模式在西北太平洋環流的模擬上得到改善,並可模擬出如中尺度渦漩及黑潮蜿蜒行為等中小尺度之擾動現象。
    在東海海域之區域性探討方面,由西北太平洋模式之結果顯示,黑潮由ETC(East Taiwan Channel)進入東海之通量平均通量約為20.95±2.56Sv,其年際變化及85天之振盪週期,與前人觀測之結果相近。模式中亦呈現出位於日本九州西南方的黑潮主軸轉向點之季節性南北移動,冬季向北移,夏季向南移,移動距離約50公里。
    在模式模擬結果中,東海海域之流場、海面高度及海面溫度之分布,與觀測結果均非常接近;夏季之東海海面溫度約為26-29°C,與NOAA/AVHRR之SST衛星觀測結果非常接近。但黃海海域因溫鹽之表面邊界及長江注水量的影響,與前人之研究有些許之差異,需使用較為正確之資料做為邊界條件來改善模式結果。
