現今讀者對於圖書館的資訊需求快速提升,然而讀者卻經常需花費大量的時間取得所需書籍,特別是於館藏豐富且館舍面積與日俱增之圖書館,更凸顯此問題對讀者服務之重要性。為提供讀者有效服務,國內外有些圖書館亟欲發展能協助讀者快速找尋書籍之資訊系統,如使用RFID或WiFi等定位技術等。然而這些技術及其所需建立之環境,對於大部分圖書館而言成本負荷太大,且無足夠的人力與經費成本去管理維護。因此本研究利用行動裝置以及NFC技術,建置一套低成本且又能提供讀者快速尋書之尋書系統。同時為探討及評估使用者對於所建置系統之滿意度,本研究進一步利用使用性量表進行讀者使用性測試,結果顯示讀者對於所建置系統之滿意度介於「好」及「優」之間。
Most readers usually spend much time finding the locations of books they want to borrow in libraries with varied fruitful collections. Recently, some libraries have applied positioning technologies, such as RFID or Wi-Fi, to provide mobile services to help their readers find books by a time-saving way. Unfortunately, they cost too high to build the application environments for most libraries, and even they may not have adequate human resources and budgets to control and maintain the system running well. Considering the limited and dwindling funding restrictions, in this study, we adopt NFC technology cooperated with mobile devices to develop a novel and affordable book finding system. It is expected that system will not only satisfy libraries’ needs of providing services with lower cost, but also give convenient ways for users to find their books quickly. Finally, we further conducted the usability tests to evaluate users’ satisfaction by applying System Usability Scale. We separated the participant into two groups — know well about the library and know not well about the library. The result shows that the book-finding system is acceptable and good for both participant groups.
