  • Employment policies play the most important role in teaching performance. Teachers have an important role in shaping the future of our nation, therefore, schools should have employment policies that would motivate and satisfied them.
    This study assessed the level of satisfaction and motivation of private elementary teachers in Angeles City, Philippines with the employment policies in their respective schools. After reading literature review, the researcher constructed a questionnaire and used to collect data for the study. The study was analyzed using simple descriptive statistics.
    The survey results revealed that most of the respondents were satisfied with program upgrading instruction as part of employment as one subcomponent of employment policies. Compensation satisfied teachers in this study in their teaching performance. Awards and recognition is the most motivating factors of respondents in their teaching performance. However, human relation has a very low result.
    Overall, the survey results employment policies have a great impact on teaching performance.
