本研究採個案研究,分析一位資深的國中生物教師的類比使用實例,探討有哪些因素會影響教師類比的選用,以及教師的類比對學生學習的影響。
由研究結果顯示,影響教師類比選用的因素共有教師過去的經驗、學科教學知識、教科書內容、教學情境與其他教學策略等五項因素。且這五項因素對於教師類比的選用的影響是有順序性的,依序為教科書內容、學科教學知識、其他教學策略、過去的經驗以及教學情境,且在教學情境中會產生一個回饋,使教師重新溯回到學科教學知識,再選用其他的類比於教學中。
於研究結果中亦顯示,教師是否將類比物與目標物之間相對應的屬性交代清楚、是否將類比的限制性告訴學生、學生對類比物是否熟悉、以及教師的學科教學知識等,都會對學生的學習產生影響。
藉由本研究的結果,可知有哪些因素會影響教師類比的選用,以及教師使用類比教學時有那些應該注意的要點。此部分的資料可以提供科學教師作為教學時候之參考,於使用類比教學中注意到有哪些要點是必須先加以考慮,以避免學生產生迷思概念。
