  • 本研究旨在探究視障獨居老人之生活現況與所需的社會支持。將 採取質性研究法,透過邀請台北市內之視障獨居老人參與深度訪談與 焦點團體作為資料搜集之主要方法回答以上問題。
    本研究以活躍老化之觀點出發,透過視障獨居老人目前生活之工 作、興趣與學習、社會參與、日常的獨立性、安全與健康以及環境可 及性了解其活躍老化之狀況;再以社會支持之角度,探討視障獨居老 人之社會支持需求特殊性。
    透過本研究可以發現,視障獨居長輩的活躍老化程度雖各不相 同,同一位視障獨居長輩在不同層面上的活躍程度也不太一樣,但在 其特殊需求得以滿足的情況下,視障獨居長輩依然能夠擁有良好的獨 立行動能力、完成日常所需並持續參與社群以及保持生活的重心,進 而達到活躍老化。
    期望研究結果能提供了解視障獨居老人活躍老化現況及其需求之 切入點,也希望能引起更多對於視障獨居老人之關注,達到拋磚引玉之效。
