隨著文化創意產業的興起與產官學界的推廣,傳統文化元素活化與再利用的觀念也隨之興起。本研究透過對傳統民俗技藝 —剪紙藝術,加上印刷技術的應用,把兩種傳統技藝結合,產生複合性文創設計產品,以期有助於國內新興文創事業推廣發展。藉由以剪紙藝術結合圖像設計,完成剪紙藝術網點之構建並搭配印刷數位過網技術,同時鑲入預藏資訊於影像中,再經印刷輸出,試圖將傳統藝術與數位媒體科技連結。本研究主要是使用微結構與藏密兩種不同的網點技術,應用於一般印刷品影像內,對於一般印刷品而言,可印製出藝術性與獨特性兼具並含資訊隱藏的加值產品。研究中所設計的剪紙藝術加密網點主要分四個步驟;分別
是網點設計、網點加密、底紋建置與網點解密。首先,使用傳統剪紙圖案做為網點設計基礎元素,依據所傳達的目的與內容進行網點描繪設計,完成剪紙藝術網點。第二將剪紙藝術網點加密,並以正像與鏡像的圖案來表示 0與 1。第三進行剪紙藝術網點底紋建置設計。第四以掃描器擷取底紋影像,利用影像處理軟體偵測,即可解密出原先鑲入之資訊。本研究成功完成特殊設計的剪紙藝術網點,結合傳統剪紙藝術與安全文件資訊隱藏的功能,測試結果顯示,剪紙藝術網點亦能呈現漸層階調,同時承載加密訊息並透過放大鏡均得以辨識網點結構,更是首篇針對藝術網點加密與解密研究之學術文獻,期能有助於文化創意產業、學術界與媒體傳播產業之未來發展。
With the development of cultural creative industries which are supported by government, industry and universities, the issue of activating and reviving traditional culture has been gradually emphasized. Therefore, the research integrated two kinds of traditional skills, Chinese paper cutting and printing technique, to develop creative products that will help enhance the rise of cultural creative industries. In order to connect the traditional arts with digital media technology, this study combined graphic design of paper cutting and digital halftoning technique to produce halftone dots which would be output after embedding hidden data. The research aims to apply two different halftoning techniques into prints to develop a value-added product that possesses both artistic and data-hiding features. The proposed method can be divided into four stages, including the design of halftone dots, the replacement of halftone dots into images, the encoding of halftone dots, and the decoding of embedded data. First of all, the patterns of traditional paper cutting were taken as the basic elements of artistic halftone dots, which were depicted and designed according to the purpose and content of graphic communication. Secondly, the researcher encoded the halftone dots by using normal image and its mirror image to represent data 0 and 1, respectively. Thirdly, the halftone dot pattern is assembled to form a shadow image. At last, a scanner was used to capture images, which would be detected by image processing software, to extract the embedded information. This study has successfully imple¬mented the special design of paper cutting artistic screening which combines the tra¬ditional art of paper cutting with the function of security documents of data-hiding. Besides, this study is the first paper focused on encoding and decoding of artistic screening in the academic field. The result shows that the paper cutting halftone dots can be represented with varied tone as well as encoded messages.
