5.體脂肪百分比和全體受試者各階段的IgM 濃度有顯著正相關存在;
There is a dual effects of the immune system to exercise. Immune
functions are enhanced by moderate exercise but suppressed by in-
tense exercise. The purposes of this study are to approach at the
effects of altitude climbing exercise on the concentration of human
serum immunoglobulins. I use thirty healthy university students for
this test (17 male & 13 female). This study is divided into three
stages: first, measure their VO2max, Fat%, et al. Second, collect
blood samples at the process of altitude climbing exercise. Third,
collect blood samples at the situation of simple altitude. Blood
samples are analyzed by ELISA for determination of serum IgM, IgA,
and IgG. The acquired data is analyzed by repeated one-way ANOVA,
Students' t-test, and Pearson product-moment correlation.
The conclutions arrive from discussions of the result are as fol-
lows:
1.The situation of simple altitude (H3250M) increases the concentra-
tion of IgA significantly.
2.There is no significant change of altitude climbing exercise (H35
24-3952M for 3.4-5.8 hours with intensive exercises between 54-67
%VO2max) on the concentration of serum immunoglobulins.
3.Both at rest and exercise, female's serum immunoglobulins concen-
tration is higher than male.
4.There is no significant correlation between VO2max and concentra-
tion of immunoglobulins.
5.There is significant positive correlation between Fat% and concen-
tration of sujects'IgM, and high negative correlation between con-
centration of female's IgA.
