本研究是藉由文化深廣的觀點，對大專運動會中的各項物象進行解析，並透視現象後所隱藏的意涵，期能對大專運動文化有更深層的知解，以形塑專屬的大專運動會之運動文化，藉以提供不同角度的審視空間。而研究結果歸納如下： 在價值面向上，是以「運動手段」取向為主，「運動目的」取向為輔的現象，底層中隱喻著「無奈」與「漠視」的排斥思維，在意涵中透露出運動會為參與者利用的「工具」。在規範取值中，是以競賽規則和參賽標準為依歸、運動員精神為輔的現象呈現；制度面向上，是以承辦的組織架構為主，配合一連串儀式化的典禮過程為輔。在深層意涵上，規範與制度不僅操弄著運動參與者行動模式，並且藉由一種固定不變的格式化的過程，促使運動參與者最後依然依附與遵循在現實運動制度與規則的軌跡中。在行動表現中，以透過運動價值、規範與制度的制約下，形構出合乎運動角色的「正當行為」為主，其間充斥著「運動偏差行為」，但是所有運動行為模式都是在社會文化壓抑之影響下衍生而成的。物質事物面向的演變與成長，是構築在昂貴先進的運動場地、器材與設備上，配合多變、瑰麗的服裝、球鞋與不斷進步的其他運動配備為輔；在意涵上迫使參與者產生「物化」的現象與受到「商業化」的操縱而難以自拔。

The goal of the study, in the viewpoints of the deep and broad culture, is to conduct an analysis in all physical phenomena occurring in Collegiate Athletic Meet and to gain a perspective of intents hidden behind the phenomena. It is hoped that collegiate athletic culture can be more deeply understood so as to exclusively form the sports culture of Collegiate Athletic Meet and the space viewed from different perspectives can be provided by means of collegiate athletic culture.In the dimension of value, "sports-means-oriented" phenomenon is primary, while "sports-goal-oriented" phenomenon is secondary. "no alternative" and "ignorance" are the discrimination thoughts metaphorically occurring in the deep structure. In the intents, athletic meet is used as a "tool" by participants.In the norm, based on competition rules and participation standards, sportsmanship is shown as a secondary phenomenon. In the dimension of institute, the organization structure which is responsible for is primary, while a series of ceremony procedure which is ritual is secondary. In the deep intents, norm and institute not only manipulate the action mode of sports participants, but also urge sports participants to finally still adhere to and follow the tracks of practical sports institutes and rules, throuIn the action performance, through sports value, norm, and institute which are on condition, "appropriate behaviors" which are qualified for sports roles are mainly constructed with in-between "sports deviation behaviors" everywhere. However, all sports behavior modes are generated under the influence of social culture repression.Material-dimensioned development and growth are constructed on expensive advanced sports playground, facilities, and equipment, in tune with changing fabulous clothes and sports shoes and other improving sports equipment that are secondary. In the intents, participants are forced to produce "materialization" phenomena and fail to self-escape from the manipulation of "commercialization".
