本研究在探討我國四位化學資優學生在第28屆國際化學奧林匹亞(IChO)中,其解題行為的表現。利用解題脈絡網路(problem solving network)分析理論試題的命題層次,對四位學生的解題原案,進行綜合研判。研究學生的解題能力,獲得兩項結論:
(一)題目的命越層次影響學生的解題成就,學生的解題成就隨著命題層次的提高,有趨向一致的傾向,而且隨著命題層次的提高其一致性就愈明顯;在命題層次低的試題,學生的解題成就雖然較為混亂,但仍有一定的順序。
(二)化學學科知識的高低影響學生的解題表現:從解題脈絡網路分析,學生的解題成就受化學學科知識高低的影響,尤其在命題層次低的題目最為明顯,學生的化學學科知識高低跟其解題成就成正比。因此從解題脈絡網路來看,題目的命題層次高低,掌控著四位資優學生的解題表現。
The study was aimed the performance of chemistry problem solving of four gifted students who represented our country in the 28th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) competition. These four case-students were analyzed synthetically according to problem solving network that was used to analyze the problem solving levels in theoretical tasks of 28th IChO. Two conclusions are obtained from this study:
(一)Students' achievement on problem solving is influenced by the problem solving levels of tasks : It is found that the higher the problem solving levels, the more evident of the conformity of students' accomplishment of problem solving and the influence of the students' professional chemistry knowledge appears less and less. Although the students' achievement is not easy to chase in low level of problem solving questions, but their achievement is regular.
(二)The contents of professional chemistry knowledge play an important role in students' performance : From the problem solving network, the students' accomplishment is influenced by the contents of professional knowledge. Such an influence is especially evident in the tasks with low problem solving levels by the problem solving network. In summary, according to problem solving network, the level of tasks proposal dominate the four gifted students' performance of problem solving ability.
