本研究旨在探討高中生主觀知覺父母教養方式、未來時間觀點與學業自尊的相關情形,並藉由性別、年級與出生序等背景變項,檢視各向度之現況與差異。
本研究對象以分層隨機抽樣方式自臺灣桃園區各鄉鎮市挑選出8間公、私立普通高中學生,有效樣本共670人(男生284人,女生386人),研究工具主要包含「父母教養方式量表」、「未來時間觀點量表」與「學業自尊量表」三個部分,所得資料以描述性統計、多變項變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關、多元迴歸分析,與簡單迴歸分析進行統計考驗。
主要研究結果摘要如下:
一、高中生主觀知覺父母教養方式大致為正向,且具備中等及以上未來時間觀點,唯在學業能力感與學業控制感上略為不足。
二、高中生知覺之「父親關懷」存在性別與出生序的顯著差異;不同性別高中生之未來時間觀點有顯著差異,不同年級高中生在「價值」與「速度」有顯著差異;學業自尊與「控制感」向度存在年級顯著差異。
三、高中生父母教養方式與未來時間觀點、學業自尊呈現顯著正相關。
四、高中生未來時間觀點與學業自尊呈現顯著正相關。
五、高中生知覺之「父親關懷」、「父親保護」與「母親關懷」對於未來時間觀點有顯著預測力;未來時間觀點對於學業自尊有顯著預測力。
六、未來時間觀點對高中生知覺之「父母關懷」、「父母保護」與學業自尊之關係有部分中介效果。
本研究針對上述結果加以討論,並提出各項建議,以供教育實務工作與後續相關研究之參考。
The purpose of this study were to investigate the differences of the subjective perception of parent rearing patterns, future time perspective and academic self-esteem of high school students in different demographic variables, and the correlation among each other. Study samples were collected from 670 of high school students in Taoyuan, Taiwan. All participants completed the Parent Rearing Patterns Scale, Future Time Perspective Scale and Academic Self-esteem Scale. Through the descriptive statistics, MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.The main findings of the study were summarized as follows:
1.The situation of high school students’ parent rearing patterns and future time perspective were generally good and positive, only academic ability and academic control were insufficient.
2.Parent rearing patterns “father care ” dimension of high school students varied significantly in the gender and birth order;The future time perspective of high school students varied significantly in the gender, “valence” and “speed” dimension varied significantly in the grade;The academic self-esteem and “academic control” dimension of high school students varied significantly in the grade.
3.There were significantly positive relationship between high school students’ parent rearing patterns, future time perspective and academic self-esteem.
4.There were significantly positive relationship between future time perspective and academic self-esteem.
5.“Father care ” , “father protection” and “mother care” of high school students had significant predictive power on future time perspective;And future time perspective had significant predictive power on academic self-esteem.
6.Future time perspective could partially mediate “parent care”, “parent protection” and academic self-esteem of high school students.
According to the findings of the study, suggestions were provided to education, counseling and future research respectively.
