評鑑表實為評估電腦軟體不可或缺之工具.經由表上之項目,購買者可發現
某軟體的優缺點,並看看該軟體是否符合學習及電腦教學之理論,以決定其
是否符合軟體使用者之教學需要.在本論文中,作者設計一份評鑑表,用以
評估專供外語教學且在單機使用之電腦軟體.由於評鑑需有標準以為基礎,
作者將由教學設計,電腦教學模式,語言教學練習,及電腦特性等範疇中,匯
集相關理論,以為評鑑表中諸項目之準則.本評鑑表分為六大單元,依次
為: 基本資料,課程內容,教學設計,電腦教學模式,電腦特性,和總評鑑.前
五個單元中,各含有許多組評鑑項目.對於不具評鑑性質之項目,使用者只
需在適當的答案上打勾,或寫下所需之資料;對於具評鑑性質之項目,使用
者亦可能在適當的答案上打勾,或者在一四個等級之評鑑標準上做標示.在
每一部份或單元之結尾處,使用者可寫下評語或建議.最後一單元則是對該
電腦軟體作總評估,評鑑表之使用者需回答一些問題,並寫下評論.

A checklist is a very useful tool for courseware evaluation. It
can help the prospective buyers discover the strengths and
weaknesses of the program in interest as well as its potential
in meeting their needs. In this thesis, a checklist will be
proposed for evaluating courseware developed for foreign
language learning on a self- access basis. Since evaluation
presupposes standards and criteria, theories for instructional
design, four types of CAI (tutorial, drill and practice, game,
simulation), three classes of language drills (mechanical,
meaningful, communicative), and computer capabilities will be
reviewed and discussed. The qualifications derived from these
theories will be grouped and converted into the checking items
in the proposed checklist. This checklist is composed of six
divisions, namely, Basic information, Program content,
Instructional design, CAI for foreign language learning,
Computer capabilities, and Final judgments. In the first five
divisions, there are some groups of checking items. For non-
evaluative items, the evaluator may check yes or no or provide
the information as requested; for evaluative items, he may
check yes or no or evaluate on a four- point scale. Comments
will be solicited at the end of each section or division. The
last division deals with the overall evaluation of the program,
in which description and comments will be requested. criteria
