本研究之目的在於提出草木灰釉之燒製實驗模式.經由文獻初步探討及專家訪談,建立草木灰釉之燒製模式,再搜集台灣常見之本土草木灰,以及市售之草木灰進行成分分析比較後,根據取得途徑及分析結果選取木麻黃灰為實驗樣本,應用草木灰釉初步燒製初步燒製實驗模式進行實驗,並根據實驗結果修正草木灰釉燒製實驗模式,最後再提出研究結論與草木灰釉燒製實驗模式應用於中學生活科技課程教學之建議.
本研究結果歸納如下:壹.草木灰釉燒製實驗模式及其影響變因一.影響草木灰釉燒成的因素有:(1)草木灰的種類與成分;(2)草木灰的處理方法;(3)草木灰釉的燒成氣氛;(4)草木灰釉的燒成溫度.二.草木灰釉燒製實驗模式,由草木灰的處理變因.釉藥調配原料與方式變因.試片材質變因.燒成曲線變因構成.三.草木灰釉燒成實驗模式應用於現行生活科技課程之理由:(1)符合現行中學生活科技課程目標;(2)符合STS的概念;(3)符合MST的概念;(4)符合現行製造科技系統教學策略應用之可能.貳.臺灣常見草木灰與市售合成草木灰成分之比較一.臺灣常見草木灰水洗前後Na2O之損耗量約為37.73%.K2O之損耗量約為41.86%,水洗灰比未洗灰燒失量(灼減)小.二.臺灣常見草木灰樣本較合成草木灰之燒失量較為小.參.木麻黃灰調配釉藥之表現一.木麻黃水洗灰與未洗灰與釉藥燒成之影響並無明顯差異.二.氧化燒成與還原燒成之熔融溫度與釉色表現不同.三.試片材質影響燒成釉色及作品形狀.四.不同試片組之燒成結果相似.五.靠近木麻黃端之釉藥組成,大皆帶有乳濁.開片.支流等現象;靠近日化長石端之釉藥組成,大皆帶有透明.開片.支流等現象;靠近陶土端之釉藥組成,大皆帶有乳濁.開片.微流,釉層較厚等現象.
The objective of this research is to present wood and vegetable ash glazes production model. From generally marketed wood and vegetable ashes ingredientanalysis and comparison; preliminary examination, discussions with experts,the Casuarina spp. Ash was chosen for the experiment model, using wood and vegetable
ash glazes preliminary production model to execute the experiment, and according to the experiment results modify the wood and vegetable ash glazes burning experiment model. Finally, the research conclusion and modification to wood an
d vegetable ash glazes burning experiment model is applicable for suggestions to The Living Technology Curriculum of Middle School teaching's. The research conclusion is categorized as follows:1.Wood and Vegetable ash glazes burning experiment model and variables that affectit (1)Factors that affect wood and vegetable ash glazes burning's result variable are: a. wood and vegetable ashglaze's variety and ingredients; b. the processing method of wood and veget able ash glazes; c. the fired atmosphere of wood and vegetable ash glazes; d. the firing temperature of wood and vegetable ash glazes.(2)The wood and vegetable ash glazes firing experiment model is constructed fromvariables in the processing of wood and vegetable ashes, variables in themixture of glaze's in gredients and methods, variables in tiles quality, and variables in the firing
temperature.(3)The reasons for application of wood and vegetables ash glazes firingexperiment model at current Living Technology Curriculum: a. It is suitable for the current objectives of Middle School Technology Curriculum;
b. It is applicable to the concept of STS; c. It is applicable to the concept of MST; d. It is possibly applicable to the present manufacturing techno
logy system teaching strategy.2.A Comparison of the ingredients found in the wood and vegetable ashes commonlyfound in Taiwan, and those other complex wood and vegetable ashes available inthe market:(1)The wastage of Na2O of the
usual wood and vegetable ashes in Taiwan beforeand after washing is 37.73%, the wastage of K2O approximately at 41.86%, thefiring wastage of washed ash is smaller than pre-wash ash.(2)The firing wastage of the usual wood and vegetable
ashes found in Taiwan are lower than the complex wood and vebetable ash.3.The performance of Casuarina spp. ash mixture glazes:(1)There is no significant difference in the firing result between washed and prewash Casuarina spp.;(2)Pe
rformance of Oxidizing fired and reduction fired in melting, mixing and the glaze color appear differently.(3)The tiles quality affect the fired glazes'color and product pattern.(4)The firing result of different tiles group is similar.(5)The glzes' combination that are close to Casuarina spp. ash edge, majority carry milky, crack, stringing etc scenario ; The glazes combination that areclose to Naku feldspar edge, majority carry transparent, crack, stringing etc scenario; The glazes combination that are close to the clay edge, majority carrymilky, crack, a little string, glazes layers are thicker etc scenario.
