在柯雷里有出版的作品一至作品六中，唯一的樂團音樂就是作品六《大協奏》，而這協奏曲種類也是最早的樂團音樂，「大協奏曲」也是巴洛克時期的特有產物，對於柯雷里作品六在當時的廣泛出版以及演奏，相當有討論的空間，每一首樂曲的特色，以及整體性，作曲家用了哪一些方式。
本論文總共分成四大章與序論和結論。序論說明寫作動機和研究方法；第一章從協奏風格的形成，運用在器樂曲上，至巴洛克時期的三種協奏曲；第二章作曲家的生平，以及作品的創作背景，從受到波隆那樂派的影響，至離開前往到羅馬，並且創立自己的樂團；第三章以巴洛克時期的音樂特色將作品六做完整的分析；第四章以最常被演奏的第八號《聖誕協奏曲》作完整的分析和演奏詮釋討論。結論，說明柯雷里作品六對後世作曲家的影響。
