教學媒體是一種寫了傳達訊息所使用的媒介物與方法,可使教
學與學習活動具體化。在環境教育的教學過程中,教學媒體的應用,
具有其一致肯定的教育功能與價值。十九世紀以降,自然與野生物
攝影已被廣泛應用於環境教育及生態保育等層面。
經由文獻回顧,本研究曾彙整發表於(自然攝影及其環境教育
角色)一文中。此外,研究過程中,透過專家晤談與座談討論等方
法,進一步釐清與分析自然生態攝影建構於環境教育理論之相關概
念。本研究並分析座談會中十九位具有自然生態攝影之實務經驗,
兼有環境教育或環境傳播相關背景等專家學者不同的觀點與見解,
彙整歸納於(目然攝影與環境教育的交集-生態擬影座談會紀實)
一文中。
本研究先前探討自然攝影主要是以自然環境中之地景,以及其
間之野生物為攝影主題與主體;本研究所分析之自然生態攝影則強
調以生態學的知識與概念為基礎,藉由影像來傳達自然環境與生物
主體,其間之互動關係與相互作用。本研究分析結果顯示,自然生
態攝影於傳述生態現象時,扮演境紀錄的重要角色,並充分發揮環
境教育的功能。本研究僅針對自然生態攝影之本質內涵、範疇分類、
哲學理念,以及自然生態攝影之環境倫理、構成要素及其環境教育
功能做內容分析與釐清界定,並嚐試從自然生態攝影應用於環境教
育所面臨之學門領域的建構發展,資源的短缺,推廣管道的不足,
參與者共識的建立及資訊整合的必要性等課題,提出因應的芻議。
Instructional media is one typs of medium and manner, which could be helpful to the teaching and learning activities. In teaching process) it's function and value of environmental education has been reconized. Since the 19 century, nature and wildlife photography have been widely utilized in the area of environmetal education and conservation.
Through the literature review, the study published a review paper tilted "The nature photography and its role in environmental education." In addition, specialist interview and panel disscussion on nature photography was conducted during the period of the research (1996.3-1997.6). Based on the meeting record, the study analyzed the diverse comments from 19 specialists or the topics of nature and ecological photography.
The study further discussed several main themes on nature and ecolological photography, including its basic concepts and related philosphy, ethics, and criteria. The study results showed that nature and ecological photography would play an important role in recording ecological phenomenon as a communicated image for enviromental education. Six topics on nature and ecoligical photography applied in environmental education were finally analyzed, and relevant recommendation was presented in the thesis.
