  • 這份研究中,以來自中美洲的鱂魚Kryptolebias marmoratus 做測試,探討打鬥經驗效應的消退。在動物打鬥行為的研究中,發現曾經贏過的個體,在之後的打鬥獲勝的機率就會增高,稱之「勝者效應」;而之前曾經落敗的個體,在之後的打鬥獲勝的機率就會降低,稱之「敗者效應」。前人研究發現打鬥經驗之效應在一段時間之後消失,而本實驗以系統化的方式,測量在獲得打鬥經驗過後,經過不同的時間長度(分別是給予經驗當天、隔1 天、2 天、4 天及7 天),分別與無近期打鬥經驗的個體對打,以偵測當時的經驗效應。觀察的行為包含有近期輸或贏的個體與近期無打鬥經驗個體對打時先展示、先攻擊、發生互鬥以及獲勝的機率。本研究結果發現,贏的經驗(1)提高個體的
    互鬥機率,此效應在2 至4 天時消退;(2)提高為發生互鬥時的獲勝機率,此效應在0 至1 天時消退。而輸的經驗(1)降低個體先攻擊的機率,此效應在0 至1 天時消退;(2)降低發生互鬥的機率,此效應在1 至2 天時消退;以及(3)降低為發生互鬥時的獲勝機率,此效應在1 至2 天時消退。由此研究得知,不論是勝者效應或是敗者效應,K. marmoratus 的輸贏經驗效應在4 天內就會消退。
